Getting started with digital signage
What is digital signage and how can it benefit my business?
Digital signage replaces static posters and printed menus with dynamic screens — LCD displays, LED video walls, menu boards and interactive kiosks — that you can update instantly from anywhere. Businesses use it to increase customer engagement, promote offers in real time, reduce perceived wait times, and cut ongoing print costs. Retailers, restaurants, hotels and corporate offices typically see measurable lifts in engagement and average order value within weeks of installation.
Why choose Braintune over other digital signage providers?
Braintune designs, supplies and installs digital signage solutions built for 24/7 commercial operation — not consumer-grade TVs repurposed for signage. Every display is selected for reliability, our Braintune Cloud CMS gives you remote control of your entire screen fleet from one dashboard, and every product carries a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty with Australia-wide installation and support. We handle the full journey end-to-end: site inspection, hardware, software, installation and ongoing monitoring.
What types of digital signage displays do you offer?
Our range spans Commercial LCD displays, Indoor and Outdoor LED video walls, interactive touch kiosks, digital menu boards, digital totems and 4K signage media players — plus mounts and accessories. Whether you need a single reception screen or a multi-site rollout across dozens of locations, our team will recommend the right display type, size and brightness for your space.
Reliability & 24/7 operation
Can your displays run 24/7 without failure?
Yes. Our commercial-grade LCD and LED displays are purpose-built for continuous 24/7 operation — unlike consumer television panels, which are only rated for a few hours of daily use and will fail prematurely in commercial deployments. Our panels use industrial-grade components rated for always-on operation, backed by active thermal management to prevent heat-related failures during extended run times.
How reliable are Braintune displays for mission-critical environments?
Our displays are deployed in environments where downtime isn’t an option — airports, hospitals, quick-service restaurants and 24-hour retail. Reliability comes from three things: industrial-grade panels rated for continuous operation, 24/7 remote device health monitoring through Braintune Cloud CMS so issues are caught before they become visible to customers, and a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty with rapid remote diagnosis.
What happens if a screen goes offline or develops a fault?
Braintune Cloud CMS continuously monitors the health and connectivity of every screen in your fleet, so our support team is typically aware of an issue before you are. Most faults are diagnosed and resolved remotely; if a hardware repair is needed, it’s covered under your 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty. See our Warranty page for the full claims process.
Cloud management & content
What is Braintune Cloud CMS and how does remote management work?
Braintune Cloud CMS is our cloud-based content management platform that lets you schedule, update and monitor content across every screen in your network — from a single screen to a nationwide multi-site rollout — from any web browser. You can push new menus, promotions or wayfinding content instantly, schedule content by time of day or location, and check device health without ever visiting the site in person.
Can I manage multiple screens across multiple locations from one dashboard?
Yes — this is exactly what Braintune Cloud CMS is built for. Group screens by store, region or content type, push updates to one screen or thousands simultaneously, and get a real-time overview of every display’s status across your entire estate from a single login.
How do I get software and firmware updates for my display?
Firmware and CMS software updates are delivered remotely wherever possible, so your displays stay current without a technician on site. Release notes and manual update packages are also available on our Downloads page, or you can contact Support and our team will guide you through it.
Display quality & installation
How bright and clear are your displays for indoor vs outdoor use?
Brightness is matched to the environment: indoor commercial LCD displays typically run 450–700 nits for crisp, glare-free clarity under standard lighting, while our outdoor LED screens are rated up to 6,500 nits with automatic brightness adjustment for full sunlight readability. Every product page lists the exact brightness, resolution and IP rating so you can match the display to your space with confidence.
What's the difference between LCD and LED for a digital signage installation?
Commercial LCD displays are ideal for indoor screens up to roughly 98" — sharp, cost-effective, and available with touch. LED video walls are modular, built from tiled cabinets, and scale to virtually any size or shape, making them the better choice for large-format indoor feature walls or bright outdoor advertising screens. Our team will recommend the right technology, pixel pitch and brightness based on your viewing distance and environment.
Do you provide installation across Australia?
Yes — we offer end-to-end installation Australia-wide, from a free site inspection through mounting, cabling, commissioning and CMS setup, carried out by our certified technicians. Every installation includes a walkthrough so your team knows exactly how to manage content going forward.
Warranty & support
What warranty do you offer on digital signage hardware?
Every display we supply is backed by a 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, with parts and labour included for approved repairs. Full coverage details and the claims process are on our Warranty page.
Can I get a custom size or made-to-order LED video wall?
Yes. LED video walls are modular by nature, so we can configure a custom width, height and pixel pitch to fit almost any space — lobbies, control rooms, retail feature walls or outdoor advertising structures. Share your space dimensions and viewing distance with our team and we’ll recommend a made-to-order configuration and quote.
